Background & Training

My clinical formation has been shaped by the person-centered tradition — particularly the work of Carl Rogers and Eugene Gendlin's Focusing — and by experiential and humanistic approaches to therapy. The work itself is integrative, adapted to each person and what is most useful, sometimes reflective, sometimes more practical or structured. I am currently working toward certification in Focusing-Oriented Therapy through The International Focusing Institute, deepening study in the lineage that has most shaped how I listen. Alongside formal clinical training, I've studied yoga, sound, and contemplative practices that inform how I work with embodied experience. The trainings and experience below reflect that ongoing path.
