Practice Information
SESSIONS
I offer individual psychotherapy for adults, both in person and via telehealth (Zoom). Currently, in-person sessions are held at my office in Colchester, at The Wellness Collective, on Mondays and Thursdays, and online sessions are available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays — with daytime and early-evening times. Standard sessions are 60 minutes, unless otherwise arranged.
For telehealth, you'll need to be physically located in Vermont at the time of each session, as this is a requirement of state licensure.
FEE
My fee is $145 for a 60-minute session, paid at the time of service. Payment is made through a secure client portal using a credit or debit card kept on file.
A private-pay practice
I am a private-pay, out-of-network practice. Payment is made at the time of service, and I don't bill insurance directly.
If you have out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill — an itemized receipt you can submit to your insurance for possible partial reimbursement. Reimbursement depends on your plan, so it's worth checking your out-of-network benefits directly. I'm always glad to talk through fees and options during a consultation.
If private pay isn't the right fit for you, I'm happy to help you find other providers or resources that may be a better match.
Cancellations & scheduling
I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a session. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, are charged the full fee. When we set aside a time, that hour is held specifically for you, and this policy helps me honor that consistently. I understand that genuine emergencies happen, and I’ll always do my best to work with you when they do.
What I Don’t Provide
A few services fall outside the scope of this practice, including: formal ADHD or psychological evaluations, neuropsychological or educational testing, disability determinations, accommodation letters, emotional support animal letters, and custody, forensic, or court-ordered evaluations and treatment.
Consultation
I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation. This is a chance for you to ask questions, tell me a little about what you are looking for, and get a sense of whether working together feels like a good fit.
If it seems like another therapist or service would better meet your needs, I will be honest about that and, when possible, help point you in a more useful direction.
