Good Faith Estimate (No Surprises Act Notice)

Under the federal No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of psychotherapy services if you are uninsured or choose not to use insurance.

A Good Faith Estimate provides information about anticipated charges for services reasonably expected at the time the estimate is created. Because psychotherapy is individualized, the total cost of care may vary based on your needs and the course of treatment.

You have the right to receive a written Good Faith Estimate before your first scheduled service or upon request at any time.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill. You must initiate the dispute process within 120 calendar days of the date on the original bill.
