ABOUT
I’m Sarah, a psychotherapist based in Vermont. My approach is relational and person-centered. I come to this work with the understanding that each of us moves through our lives in a way that is particular to us — how we make sense of things, how we decide, how we change.
I aim to create a space where we can slow things down and look more closely at your experience. Where patterns begin to come into view — especially those that may no longer fit, or have quietly outlived their usefulness.
Much of the work comes from staying with what is present — both what can already be put into words, and what is still taking shape. Subtle feelings, images, inner senses that haven't yet found language. At times this includes working with dreams, or with a felt sense of experience in the body.
These are not separate techniques. They are ways of listening more closely to what is already there.

WHO I WORK WITH
I work with adults who are thoughtful and self-aware — and often pretty hard on themselves.
People come for a lot of different reasons: anxiety, low mood, stress or burnout, attention and executive functioning (including ADHD), relationship difficulties, questions about direction or purpose, or a sense that they keep getting in their own way.
What many have in common is that they know themselves pretty well — and still find themselves caught in the same places.
WHAT THIS WORK CAN OFFER
Therapy isn't just about insight. Sometimes insight is the part you already have plenty of.
What can shift, over time, is how you relate to your own experience — less second-guessing, less getting pulled into familiar loops, a clearer sense of what's actually yours. That looks different for everyone, and it tends to happen gradually, not all at once.
